This month at GA Preschool & Childcare, our children are exploring spring through hands-on learning, creativity, and nature discovery.

From learning about Easter traditions and community celebrations in Surrey, to enjoying fun activities like Easter egg hunts, crafts, and seasonal treats, our students are developing curiosity, creativity, and social skills.

During Spring Story Time, children discover stories about nature and growth—like the beloved The Very Hungry Caterpillar—while songs and movement make learning joyful and memorable.

We are also excited to welcome Owl Wild Animal Education on March 16, where children will learn about fascinating wildlife, animal habitats, and why protecting nature is important.

🌸 February Learning Highlights 🌸

This month, our children are exploring the world through meaningful, age-appropriate cultural learning experiences.

From learning about Chinese New Year (Feb 16) and the symbols of red, family, and new beginnings, to celebrating Friendship Day (Valentine’s Day – Feb 14) through kindness and caring actions, children ages 3–5 are developing social awareness, language skills, and emotional understanding.

Through conversations, observation, and guided exploration of world cultures, children begin to understand that people around the world may greet, eat, and celebrate in different ways—and that there is more than one “right” way to do things.

This month, we’re sharing how young children learn about the world through meaningful, hands-on experiences.

From exploring international foods and traditional clothing, to discovering cultural games and traditions, these learning moments help children ages 3–5 develop curiosity, language skills, empathy, and confidence.

Through play, conversation, and observation, children begin to understand that people around the world may eat, dress, and play differently - and that these differences are something to appreciate and respect.

We’re grateful to partner with families in nurturing joyful learning, cultural awareness, and a strong foundation for lifelong growth 💛
